The HBP-8000 is used in a clinical setting to monitor arterial diseases.
Three modes allow for a wide range of diagnostic actions
- Pulse-Wave Velocity (PWV) mode measures arteriosclerosis via arm and ankle cuffs
- Ankle-Brachial Index (ABI) mode measures blood vessel blockage
- Blood pressure mode measures differences in blood pressure between the arms
The HBP-8000 was designed with separate upper arm and ankle units allowing for a compact design and quick access to the upper arm cuffs.
